foolish

So every night before I sleep, I think BIG. I mean, looking into my future and planning what I want. I never realized how stupid I was because I realized my grades and most likely my SAT scores would never match up to my dream college, nor would I ever play college volleyball. :/ I just have this dream of what I wanted to do, and that was it. I thought about that every night, until last night. I stopped myself and said to myself "what the heck is wrong with me?" I don't even know my own future but I'm planning it out for myself. I think it's a pretty selfish thing to do now. Everything was all for me. But I know that if I don't make it, I'd call myself foolish. I'm pretty foolish now to think that. But that night, I remembered something that I learned from bible study and it was in James 4:
Boasting About Tomorrow
13Now listen, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money." 14Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15Instead, you ought to say, "If it is the Lord's will, we will live and do this or that." 16As it is, you boast and brag. All such boasting is evil. 17Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.

Yeah... who knows what is my future. Even a tarot card reader nor a fortune teller can do that. I think I remember when I was younger, in a halloween kid's party, this fortune teller told me that I was going to have twins. WHO KNOWS?! But anyways, I have to stop worrying now. I just have to focus on what I have to do now... which is January 23, 2009, is my SATs.... :( YAY me.
